Impact CUP by CUP

The roadmap

Coffee connects millions of people every day, but a poorly managed supply chain can harm communities, ecosystems, and farmers.

At Granos Hermanos, we work directly from the source. We make sourcing efficient, fair, and transparent, building positive impact into every step.

We partner with farmers, pay fair prices, support safe working conditions, and protect the land.

We have developed our own model for engaging with our hermanos farmers, built on mutual respect and long term collaboration. This approach allows us to learn directly from producers and to return value through shared business knowledge, access to information, and, above all, by listening carefully to their needs and realities.

Let's be honest

We are a group of people with big dreams, and because of that, we choose to stay realistic, with both feet on the ground, doing things the best we can. We are just getting started, but we carry big plans and even bigger hearts. To be credible, our impact must be consistent and intentional: connect, assess, identify, and act.

We are also committed to being honest about what we are not yet able or prepared to do for the communities we work with. Impact is an ongoing practice, and we see this journey as a long term commitment to building a new standard for sourcing coffee, one that respects the people and the land that make our beans possible.

We know there is a long road ahead. But we are committed to walking it together, with producers, partners, and with you.

Our 3 P’s

Our sustainability approach is built on three essentials that guide every decision we make. We focus on people, protect the planet and ensure profit is shared fairly across the supply chain. These three pillars keep our coffee honest, impactful and rooted in long-term responsibility.

People

We prioritize the wellbeing, dignity, and economic resilience of coffee producers and the communities that make coffee production possible. Our approach focuses on closing living income gaps, strengthening farmers’ negotiating power, and ensuring safe, fair, and inclusive working conditions. In parallel, we invest in quality-of-life improvements such as access to clean water, housing, and gender equity, while fostering local coffee cultures in producing countries that create jobs, skills, and long term opportunities beyond export markets.

Planet

We are committed to protecting and regenerating the environments where coffee is grown. Our impact strategy promotes soil rehabilitation, minimal ecosystem disturbance, and responsible use of natural resources across the value chain. By supporting regenerative practices and encouraging higher quality, locally consumed coffee, we aim to reduce environmental pressure from extractive models and contribute to the long term resilience of coffee producing landscapes.

Profit

We believe profitability and impact must grow together. Our model is designed to distribute value more equitably along the coffee value chain, ensuring that producers and local businesses capture a fairer share of the margins generated by coffee. By strengthening domestic markets, supporting scalable and transparent practices, and building long term partnerships, we aim to create sustainable economic returns that benefit farmers, communities, and responsible businesses alike.
